Classic No Bake Cookies
These classic no-bake cookies are rich and chocolatey with creamy peanut butter and hearty oats, all made on the stovetop with no oven required. Perfect for a quick dessert or nostalgic sweet treat.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Prairie Farms Butter cut into pieces
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Prairie Farms Whole Vitamin D Milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut Prairie Farms Butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
Directions:
- Place butter, sugar, milk, and unsweetened cocoa powder in saucepan and heat over medium heat, making sure to stir often until butter is melted and everything is well combined.
- Bring mixture to rolling boil and allow to boil for 60 seconds (make sure to set timer!), stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat, and stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Stir in oats and mix until all of oats are coated with mixture and everything is well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto prepared baking sheets (I like to use 2 tbsp. cookie scoop).
- Allow to cool for 20-30 minutes, serve, and enjoy with cold glass of milk or eggnog sprinkled with cinnamon.
