Cheesecake Bars
Cheesecake Bars are a mouthwatering way to get the rich and creamy taste you love in a dessert -- without all of the work. Plus, they are much more portable!
Ingredients:
- 1 package Duncan Hines golden sugar cookie mix
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp Prairie Farms Whole Vitamin D Milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 8-oz package Prairie Farms Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- Empty contents of dry sugar cookie mix and flavor packet in bowl. Add 1 tbsp of water. Mix with fork until thoroughly blended. Save 1 cup of crumbs for topping.
- Press remaining crumb mixture into un-greased 9" x 9" x 2" pan.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
- Blend together, softened cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
- Pour over baked layer. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
- Return to oven and bake 25 minutes longer.
- Cool completely and cut into bars.
- Keep refrigerated.
