Simple Sausage Gravy
This simple sausage gravy is creamy, savory, and packed with hearty sausage flavor. It's a classic comfort dish that's perfect served over warm biscuits.
Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp flour
- 4 tbsp Prairie Farms Butter
- 4 cups Prairie Farms Whole Vitamin D Milk
- 1 lb cooked breakfast sausage
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Start off with melting butter in non-stick skillet or cast iron pan.
- Once butter is melted, add flour and stir until combined.
- Slowly start adding milk, while constantly stirring until you reach gravy consistency.
- Remove from heat and add cooked sausage and salt and pepper to taste!
- Serve over warm biscuits and enjoy!
