Trail Side Oatmeal Treats
Trail Side Oatmeal Treats are a great snack to pack if you're going out into nature on an adventure. Or maybe you just need a post-lunch energy boost to get you through that dreaded 3 o'clock slump.
Ingredients:
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup softened Prairie Farms Butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup Prairie Farms Whole Vitamin D Milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2-1/2 cups uncooked oatmeal
- 12 oz chocolate chips
Directions:
- Stir flour, soda, salt, butter and sugars until creamy.
- Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Stir in oats and chips.
- Drop by spoonful on cookie sheets.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F.
