Sour Cream Drop Cookies
Sour Cream Drop Cookies were grandma's secret recipe. The sweets she made were not from a book or a card, but held close in her heart from generations before.
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup Prairie Farms Butter or margarine softened
- 1 cup Prairie Farms Sour Cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
Directions:
- In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla, and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda, add to creamed mixture and mix well.
- Chill dough at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 °F for 10 minutes.
