Growing up, it seemed like every potluck dinner could result in at least 3 crockpots of various Butter Bean Supreme recipes. Over time, the Butter Bean Supreme spread has started to lessen — with some even viewing them as boring or old-fashioned.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans butter beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 cup Prairie Farms Sour Cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Karo syrup
  • 1 tbsp dried mustard
  • 1 stick Prairie Farms Butter

Directions:

  • Blend sour cream, brown sugar, Karo syrup, dried mustard and butter together.
  • Add to beans.
  • Bake 1 hour at 350 °F.
  • This casserole will thicken up after sitting for 10 minutes.
