Noodle Kugel with Sweet Custard

Ingredients:
Custard Base

Prairie Farms All Natural Sour Cream
¾
cup
Prairie Farms Whole Milk
3
Large Eggs
¼
cup
Granulated Sugar
1
tsp.
Vanilla Extract

tsp.
Kosher Salt
½
cup
Raisins
optional
Noodles

oz.
Wide Egg Noodles
4
oz.
Prairie Farms Original Cream Cheese
room temperature

tbsp.
Prairie Farms Unsalted Butter
softened
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease an 8x8 baking dish and set aside.
In large mixing bowl, whisk together sour cream, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, and raisins (if using). Set aside.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 4-5 minutes, until just tender. Drain well.
While noodles are still hot, stir in cream cheese and butter until both are fully melted and noodles are evenly coated.
Transfer noodles to bowl with custard. Stir gently until everything is evenly combined.
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake at 350ºF for 40-45 minutes, until edges are golden brown and center is set.
Let kugel cool for 15-20 minutes, then slice and serve warm!
