In small bowl, combine ginger snaps and sugar. Add butter and mix using fork. Press onto bottom of 9" spring-form pan, and about half inch up sides.
In mixing bowl, add cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla, eggnog and nutmeg. Mix well. Pour into cooled crust. Bake for about 45 minutes. Cheesecake should be set. Turn oven off and open door to oven and let sit one hour. Take out and cool.
