In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, 1 and ½ teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 2 and 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice, 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg and 1 teaspoon salt. Set aside.
In a separate large bowl, whisk together the 1 stick of melted butter, ¼ cup brown sugar and ¼ cup molasses together. Next add the 3 eggs and 1 and ⅔ cups buttermilk. Stir until just combined, careful not to overmix. There will be lumps still.
Heat your waffle maker and prepare with nonstick spray. Pour about ⅓ cup of the batter in the waffle maker for each waffle and cook for about 4 minutes. Once done, transfer the waffles to a baking sheet and place in a warmed oven until the remaining waffles are done.
Cream Cheese Drizzle: In a medium bowl, mix together the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 Tablespoons milk and ¼ cup powdered sugar. Mix until combined and smooth.
Spoon and drizzle cream cheese mixture over the Gingerbread waffles along with some syrup.
